Great solid product, was easy to install and worked great with my 46" samsung. Deleivered on time and was what I expected.
I'm confident that the TV won't fall. Supplied all of the hardware needed, as long as you aren't mounting to metal studs. The screws that fit my TV (Samsung) were too short for use with the spacers provided. Highly recommend. Been on the wall with no problems for a month now. Heavy steel construction and very sturdy. I had to use the shorter spacers meant for some of the other shorter screws included in the package; drilled out the hole a little and they worked great.
The strapped studs, which I painted flat black, were hidden nicely because this mount is so narrow and puts your TV very close to the wall. I overcame this by strapping two 2 by 4 studs horizontily across my wall and bolting them securely to the three wall studs behind where I wanted the TV. Amazon had a GREAT price on this mount. The mount came with all the necessary hardware to mount the upright sections to my TV quite securely. Very good design.
This actually gave me better clearance to get my wiring in from behind the wall so it doesn't show. This was a bit of a concern because my TV is a 50 inch Samsung plasma and weighs about 85 pounds. The mount tilts/pivots quite easily by hand and doesn't move on it's own, a big plus. Then it was just a matter of dropping the TV onto the wall mounted part. I bought it mostly based on positive reviews on this and other sites. The mount was a bit smaller than I expected, but I kind of expected this based on a few of the reviews I read. Then it was a breeze to just mount and center the heavy duty wall plate to the two strapped studs I installed.
If I had to pick a nit on this mount is that for larger TV's it would be better to be able to hit three studs with the wall plate, a minor point I guess. Did quite a bit of research on mounts before buying this product. As another reviewer mentioned the mount is not wide enough to hit three wall studs across. Though small this mount is quite solid.
Better than putting your TV on a stand. Bought this for my plasma TV. It works great.
Once measured and balanced out took about 15 min to install. Perfect wall mount for mid size flat screen. Thank you. Love the tilt feature. This is a great price for the flat panel wall mount, priced as well or better than wholesale club prices.
