It was loose fitting and I shoulda guessed it then. Garbage. The case didn't fit my zen micro very well. DO not buy if you value your mp3 player. The arm band D ring slides around and binds the straps. It maybe good if you only wear it on your belt - but don't bet on it. Silicone case broke after running for about 1.5 hours.
It looks cheap and from my experience it is. The band seemed large to begin with and slowly became out of shape. It was a hassle to take the band off the casing so I never did. After about 9 months of use I took it off only to rip the plastic casing along the bottom of the band. Since the product is made for working out I used it almost daily.
Then I needed to get at the battery in the Micro, and as I was attempting to (gently and carefully) remove it from the case, the case just ripped like it was made out of Jello. It was fine for awhile, though I had to take the belt clip off. There's no way to put the Micro in the case except by squeezing it into the stretchy silicon material like pulling on a tight sweater. Couldn't even do a repair with tape, as nothing will stick to the material even for a minute. Overall, a complete waste of money. Couldn't be glued, either. I really needed a way to carry my new Zen Micro around, and they don't even come with a place to attach a neck cord; so I bought this case and armband.
I also had trouble removing and replacing the skin after doing a reset, but I think that is the nature of the beast. If you are looking for a skin for your Zen, this is a good buy. Pat If you want it for the armband, I would look elsewhere. It's bulky and it is not easy to attach or remove. I like the skin and the lanyard, but the armband was not very useful.
But I came accross this armband and it was great. I Highly recomend this item. I have been looking for one for awhile and am very happy. It is hard to find things for this MP3, because it's not iPod.
