Secrets Of Halo 2 Reviews
I have not read the book THIS review is under, but I have read through the title above. Just read the reviews for it and you'll see what I mean. "Halo 2 Hacks: Tips & Tools for Finishing the Fight".
What I got was some pretty useless guides for Halo 1 and 2, plus a bunch of what felt like ads. I agree with "A Reader" I bought this book thinking I could use it to get on top of levels, get infinite ammo, etc. If you're a die-hard Halo fan, this book might be worth buying, but otherwise I would advise steering clear of it.
Secrets of Halo 2 is a bit misleading because of its title. Overall, it is an ok book, especially if you are a Halo fan. It also has recommendations for other games inside, such as Half-Life and Doom 3. It doesn't really have any "secrets", but it does have complete walkthroughs of both Halo 1 & 2.
Instead what I got was this piece of. If I wanted to know about Half Life 2, I would have bought a book on Half Life 2. First off, out of the whole book, only about 6 pages are actually about Halo 2, and those are just a walkthrough of campaign. Avoid buying this book. Ok, so I figured that a book called "Secrets of Halo 2" might be cool, and show me some secrets that I haven't found yet (there are a lot out there).
Even if I knew what this book was going to be, I would say avoid it. The rest of the book contains a history of first person shooters, and, get this, hints and cheats for OTHER games. Save your money for Halo 3. It has more crappy screenshots, and over used strategies (example: Remember that you can duel wield in Halo 2), then you can shake a stick at. Oh, and for those really old school fans, there's a quick walkthrough of Halo as well.
this is basically a walkthrough but they dont tell you that i was dissapointed when i finally get it, but thats just me its up tu you
