SeikoClock QHR015SLH Reviews
I checked the batteries, thinking that might be the cause, but they were fine. Most annoying is that after displaying the correct time zone for weeks, this clock will switch its reception to a Japanese time zone and revert back to measuring temperature in centigrade. However, the face doesn't stay lighted so if you wake up in the night, you must touch the snooze/light button to view. It's thin, easy to pack and batteries are easily accessible. I do like the design of this clock. Awkward. As a travel clock, this is a serious flaw.
My only problem is the dial is not lit up which makes it very difficult to see in the evening or night. Not necessarily desireable for an alarm clock. The clock is great looking and works wonderful as described; no need to set it. Had I known this I probably would not have purchased it. At those times you have to depress a light button and then you can see the numbers.
The numbers are large and easy to read. I love my new clock. At night the clock is dark. It is very sleek and modern-looking. If you want to check the time you just press the large snooze bar and the time display lights up.
It has a nice look and very reasonably priced. You can only snooz three times for a total of 15 minutes. Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase. Very loud alarm but wish it had a volume control as it wakes my spouse even if he doesn't need to get up. It is also very easy to change the time. There are many great features like the large numbers, blue light, and atomic clock synchronization. Quick turnaround on my order. I also like the battery operation and having no cords on my night table.
I bought this clock and received it 2 days ago. it just stops going off, and I just keep on sleeping, thinking that my alarm is going to go off at any minute. What I hate, and find to be an inexcusable flaw, is that the alarm completely shuts off if you press the snooze bar twice. Really seiko, don't you think the alarm should only be turned off by physically turning it off. Otherwise the person who hit the snooze bar might be SLEEPING. I like most things about it, it's stylish and sleek.it doesn't seem to be able to use the r wave feature (even though I am in a midatlantic state) but that doesn't bug me too much.
