I bought this charger hoping to use it for my Zen Micro MP3 player at work. This charger did not charge my Zen.
So I charged it through my PC. There was a big yellow line going down the right side of the screen. Then it just stopped. First time I tried it I thought it ruined my player.
This thing doesn't work. Do not buy this. I kept it charging on my PC just to see what happened and finally I guess the battery had to drain completely before it would start to charge again.
A few weeks later I took the AC adapter to work and plugged it in while I was listening to music. The only reason I bought it was because I lost my USB cable and when I found a replacement for that on amazon I saw a link to this one so I figured it'd be nice to have an AC charger for when I take it to work. The battery was almost drained when I started charging it so I thought maybe I should wait until it's not so empty.
I couldn't get it to power on.
It will not work with the Creative Zen. I figured at that point my Creative Zen was toast.
It will not charge your Zen Micro. It's overpriced, for sure, but it works. If you want to charge your Zen Micro without using a computer, buy the Creative charger. I have to agree with several other writers here, this product doesn't work. Don't be penny wise yet dollar foolish.
Would not recommend this. LED lights up on the charger, but it doesn't work with my Creative Zen Microphoto.
This charger is great, it plugs directly into the Zen, no need for the adapter you need to charge on the computer. Also you can still use your Zen while your charging it, can't do that while it's charging on the computer unless you have Creative Media Source installed and even then you can only play it over your computer. About 3 hours if your battery is completely dead. It charges faster than on the computer too. While it's charging it shows the flashing battery icon in the upper right corner, and when it's done it will go away completely.
