Simpsons Road Rage Platinum Hits

Commuters have had enough in Simpsons Road Rage! Mr. Burns has bought all the public transportation&jacked up the prices, and Springfielders are angry!

There's road rage, and then there's road rage Simpsons style! "D'oh!" Monty Burns is up to his greedy ways again. He's purchased Springfield's transit corporation and heinously jacked up the fares. Refusing to shell out for the new rates, the rage ensues. You'll take on commuters and jam-packed back routes, all in an effort to help buy back the corporation before time runs out.

More than 25 Simpsons characters climb behind the wheel or wander the streets begging for a ride. Careen through timesaving shortcuts and take on terrain including hills, mountains, and forests. Wreak havoc in five Springfield neighborhoods that include landmarks such as Moe's Bar and the nuclear power plant. Busy traffic and wayward pedestrians confound your rage. However, two-wheel leans, speed starts, power slides, and other cool car physics help you release that rage.

Multiple game modes let you go head-to-head in two-player split-screen action that challenges your opponent in a race for the next passenger, or you can steal his or her passenger midride! Complete up to 60 unique passenger deliveries in story mode, or take a leisurely Sunday drive through the fair Springfield. A bonus system lets you unlock cars and specific characters, while intuitive menus make this game easy to play. As Homer would say, "If it's hard to do, it's not worth doing!"

Simpsons Road Rage Platinum Hits Reviews

I had a good enough time with it, but it lacks depth and meat to it. Sometimes the game gets repetitive during taxi missions and the environments are somewhat bland. The characters don't really look like cartoons, rather ugly character models that didn't take full use of the console's power. This game has some overall good value to it if you don't have anything new to play when it comes to driving or you're just bored waiting for new cooler titles. Seriously EA, the destruction in the game isn't very impressive.

Next is repetition. Or, if you you're a rabid Simpsons fan this is definitely worth a look. Burns buys Springfield Transit services and replaces the buses with nuclear power, so to save Springfield you must start your own taxi service, drive people where they want to go, make money to buy transit services back, and avoid running out of time during your money-making excursions. First off, the graphics. Simpsons Road Rage is about how Mr.

Next is the destruction. The game's overall quality is decent but unfortunately there are issues that must be addressed.

Hours of fun. I play the game daily. Can't put it down.

The bottom line is that the game is a blast to play. My only criticism is that some of the language and inuendo could easily have been left out without detracting from the fun at all. The "worlds" are terrific, but are not "perfect" - this game is about cartoon-driving mayhem, it is not intended to be realistic. Crazy Taxi has larger, more detailed "worlds", but without the comedy and humor of Road Rage. Also, look for backyard shortcuts and hidden tunnels.

Road Rage, however, has more and better cars to play. Some love it, others hate it. P.S. There are plenty of sight and sound gags that should satisfy Simpsons fans, but they will become repetetive and annoying if you play long enough. Here is the low-down.

Sometime, be sure to drive around and read all the signs, billboards, and the names of the businesses. This is "Crazy Taxi" in Simpson-Land.

But, like I said, this game is very repetitive and you will probably hear the same catchphrases over and over throughout the game. If I were you, I wouldn't rush out and buy this video game. And when you do finish the game, let me tell you now, the ending is not that exciting. The voices in this game match up to the voices on the show as well.

I was so excited once I got The Simpsons: Road Rage. But, you could easily see all the characters by re-setting the calendar on your game console, and if you don't do this, you will only see the holiday character once a year. But once I started playing it, I was very dissapointed. But if you're a true Simpsons fan, you will find the humor of The Simpsons in this game.

This game is not very challenging either, and will probably take you no more than a month to finish. That feature is kind of cool. A plus side to this game is that an exclusive character & vehicle comes along every holiday, which goes with the holiday. This is an average game that is appropriate for the whole family, but it is not a must-buy.

The 3-D effects aren't very impressive, and this game is very repetitive.

This game is cool. I feel like i'm in Springfield, (Which I am). The graphics are OK. But it's fun to play like your driving. This game rocks.

I say this game is repetive though. The levels are insane in design, cars are well-themed. Pretty cartoon. A great game. people who don't like this game have problems.

The levels are filled with many landmarks. Yes it's true.
