Sims 2 Pets

The Sims 2: Pets gives your Sims the chance to raise&care for a pet! Choose from a variety of existing breeds, and hot designer mixes, but they'll also be able to personally design their new friend. Teach them new tricks, take them for a romp in the park, outfit them with new pet accessories and even give them a job! As in real life, your Sims' pet will require care and training. A neglected cat with an urge to scratch might claw up your new couch if you aren't careful, and leaving your dog unattended near a freshly planted flower bed probably isn't wise. With so many different animals to choose from, there's no telling what could occur!

Sims 2 Pets Reviews

Not quite the game that Sims Bustin' Out is but still entertaining enough for me. I am not a gamer and enjoy games that are not too hard and overly challenging. A fun, entertaining game.

When you have about 20% progress, go to the training place and get a job from Otis. then go over to the Daily Paw and get a job. Of course, like all sim games you have to take care of your needs: sleep, hunger, toilet, shower, social, entertaniment, and house( house is how well your house looks). When Do you get them.

This game is so great.

So far I have not gotten the other jobs(Vetinary Med., and Parapsycology). P.S- GET IT. I'ts a sims game, so it is great.

You get a person, a pet, and a house. Well, I hope I have helped you decide if you want to get it.

Yes, it is more about the sim than the pet, but its really fun.

Here's something you might want to know: I got this game brand-new. If you haven't save your game recently, all the things you've accomplished will be gone. When you start the game, you don't even own a pet. I got this game for Christmas. The days go by quickly, and if you don't take care of your sim, she or he will collapse, and you'll be forced to pay the doctor's bill. This game CAN be fun, but sometimes it seems more like a chore. I'm not sure if this is just a problem with my game or what, but it's not fair that this happens.

I found that with no warning the game sometimes freezes, and the screen turns green and black. These people have you run errands for them, and some of the people give you jobs so you can earn money. Every 2 weeks, you have to pay your rent, and if you don't, the repo lady comes and takes your things to pay it. At first I thought it was great, but now I hardly ever play it. I have discovered that Sims 2 Pets is more about the sim, and not the pet. The people in your town let their pets run around town.

Certain keys (Left, Right, arrow keys, `A', `B') move up the screen and you have to press them at the right time. Usually picking the faces will work (some characters like the evil faces but most like the happy ones). The recyclables are always worth the same which is different from the other games. The house furnishings aren't as nice but are an improvement from Sims2. so there is more variety but the characters, to me, seem much more impersonal than in Bustin' Out and Urbz.

There are not many places to go. After winning the top competition, nothing happened. The communication style is different again. Here, icons move across the screen and you choose one. You teach your pet tricks to compete in competition. I do not recommend owning pets in The Urbz and Bustin' Out as they are just mess makers and are not fun to have at all (except to watch the monkey butler clean up their mess). The best graphics are in the park area.

You cannot live with anyone either. There are none of the familiar characters like Dusty Hogg and Giuseppi Mezzoalto. If that is the case, what's up. The one thing that really bugs me about the game is that, no matter where you save, you always end up back at your house when you restart the game.

That's annoying. Pluses are you do get cleaning and mechanical points when you clean and repair things which is a nice addition. They could be topics of conversation, juggling acts, smiley or angry faces, rock-paper-scissors games, etc. In this game, of course, you are forced to own a pet but there is a purpose.

I went from a. Since Pets is a Sims game, I enjoyed it but not as much as I enjoyed The Urbz, Bustin' Out, and Sims 2. Before competing, you need to "teach" your pet the trick by repeating commands and praising or scolding the pet appropriately. Another part I like is that your pet can hunt and dig up items (but your pet usually doesn't stay focused very long). There may be some secret I haven't found, though.

-50 popularity all the way to +100 in a single conversation. One is the competitions, the others are walking animals, destroying fleas and other nasties at the vet clinic, and parapsychology (a strange and challenging game) at the cemetery. No cool closing scene. You can change your popularity very easily, though. The more difficult tricks your pet learns (flips, yoga, fire breathing), the more challenging the timing as you may have to hold one key down with one hand while pressing a tricky combination of keys with the other, etc). The following is how I compare Pets to the other Sims games. There are only 4 jobs.

I just finished Sims2 Pets for Game Boy Advance (well, I won the final competition but the game tells me it's only 96% completed; I'm not sure what else to do) so it's time to review. There is a lot to buy but not many cool things. Also, once you move to a better house, your pet won't stay at home anymore and is constantly underfoot. Unlike other Sims games, you advance by amassing a certain amount of earnings, so you don't have to be super good at anything to advance, but the jobsexcept parapsychare not difficult.

The neighborhood is very small compared to the other games (there is no motor bike but, actually, you wouldn't really need it anyway). Maybe you can finally use that boat that is down the stairs. I can't get enough Sims games for gba.

There are also numerous ways to get skill points which is also good. In sum, I recommend it because it is a Sims game, but it's not as good as the other Sims games (well, except SimCity 2000). There is usually a blank row, so you can be selective.

I can't believe it is there but you can never use it. These competitions consist of timing games (like the guitar game in Bustin' Out).

We have had a few squables over the game itself involving our 12 and 16 year old daughters who sneak it away to create for themselves. So much fun. She has had so much fun creating "herself" and her pets. This game was purchased for our 10 year old daughter who adores pets.
