SingStar Pop Vol. 2 Reviews
2 - the duet mode in karaoke revolution is handled like the actual duet if the song was a duet. The only things that I like more about Singstar than KR is that Singstar comes out with more games (additional songs) more often than KR and it's cool to watch the music videos while you sing on Singstar. 3 - the karaoke revolution series also has a lot more configurability to set the level of music, background noise, your own vocals, etc. duet mode in singstar just means one person sings some lines and another sings the other lines, it doesn't do a good job of combining harmony in parts where both singers are singing. 1 - the words come across the screen at a consistent pace but are spaced based on how quickly or slowly you have to say them, unlike Singstar that jumps from line to line and you can't really tell how quickly it expects you to go through certain lyrics and you might not have much time to see what's coming next and the 'notes' dont' line up vertically with the words so it's hard to know when to start each word. Karaoke Revolution is WAY better for many reasons (I'll only list a couple here): . But when it comes to the features and ease of following the lyrics, etc. I have to say I have several of the Singstar karaoke games for PS2 and I also have several of the Karaoke Revolution games.
Based on the songs included, this game is well worth the purchase. However, I like the vocal tracking better with Karaoke Revolution. I am a big fan of Karaoke Revolution and decided to pick up this game after seeing the song list. You actually get the songs performed by the original artist with the actual music video, which is something you don't get from the Karaoke Revolution series. It's a great game, though.
Maybe I just need to learn the songs more- I'll have to or it will be a waste of my money. It's kind of out of place on this disk.kind of like Whitney Houston on the first Singstar Pop. I don't think this game will be as fun with people 28-40. This game, however, proves a bit on the disappointing for me, as this game has some of the hardest songs to sing and are not really familiar songs to me; they are from popular groups (I know all of the bands.)., but these cuts are not their big radio songs. I am a Singstar junkie. And what about The Outfield - "Your Love".
* Jennifer Lopez - "Jenny From the Block". * Lloyd - "Get it Shawty". The compilation is all right, but I still wish most these were available through the SingStore (PS3/PSN)immediately, so that I wouldn't have to buy a new PS2-based disc. * Fall Out Boy - "Thnks Fr Th Mmrs". Track List as follows:. * The Hives - "Tick Tick Boom". * Sum 41 - "Fat Lip".
* Ashlee Simpson - "Boyfriend". * 3 Doors Down - "When I'm Gone". * Duran Duran - "Ordinary World". * Michelle Branch - "Breathe". * Santana feat. * Cartel - "Lose It". * Norah Jones - "Don't Know Why". * Lifehouse - "First Time".
* Colbie Caillat - "Bubbly". * Avril Lavigne - "My Happy Ending". * Maroon 5 - "Makes Me Wonder". * Steriogram - "Walkie Talkie Man". * Matchbox Twenty - "How Far We've Come". * Lily Allen - "Littlest Things". * Gwen Stefani feat.
* Boys Like Girls - "The Great Escape. * Evanescence - "Bring Me To Life". It offers the same format (artist video + singing) and the only difference is that this disc gives you 30 new tracks. * Fergie - "Big Girls Don't Cry". Chad Kroger - "Into The Night".
* Nelly Furtado - "Promiscuous". * The Outfield - "Your Love"
* Peter Bjorn and John - "Young Folks". * Rihanna - "Umbrella".
2 does not deviate from the other SingStar titles. * P.nk - "Who Knew".
* Plain White T's - "Hey There Delilah". * Dixie Chicks - "Not Ready To Make Nice".
SingStar Pop Vol. Akon - "The Sweet Escape".
