Sonic Riders Reviews

and the first was done February 21, 2006. How odd, considering the most recent of the nine customer reviews is from July 10, 2007.

Again. What I thoroughly dislike & am actually quite PO'd about, though, is that Amazon totally lied about the release date.

even though they've been steadily going downhill and aren't as fun as the original we all fell in love with. And this one certainly is no exception to that declining trend.

I really love Sonic, though, and will probably get any/every future game releases. Good enough game for the price.

They show the release date as February 12, 2008. Seems to happen more often than not with games listed here.

A crappy, nearly-deleted of all signs of life. I don't think this is even worth 20 bucks. The gameplay is OK, at times I tried to force myself to play with cool characters such as Knuckles the Echidna but that didn't change the gameplay much. If you wanna laugh, then get this. Yes. This game isn't very fun.

(Mopes Quietly in a Corner). The worst thing about it is probably the graphics. 2 stars. Worst. Character Models: F- (seriously.

Wait and see). I. But then the hysteria will quickly turn to tears, I swear. I've. Experienced. I saw the commercial and thought it looked cool and I'm a big fan of some of the Sonic titles (Sonic Adventure 2: Battle is my favorite) but it just didn't satisfy my tastes.

You race on air boards and if I recall correctly, there are special spots where you can get a boost. No. Everyone's arms are way too long and that looks very tacky. E-V-E-R.

Spinball. Characters: A+. But is it good. Is this a horrible game. Third. Than. Oh yeah, and you have to refill your board with air to continue on after a while.

If you can find it for 10 dollars or less, go ahead and try it - you might like it for that price. And the graphics are quite subpar for being a PS2 game. Sonic. I don't think so. Thank goodness I rented it because if I would have bought it for full price, I'd be kicking myself for it. W-O-R-S-E. Inside Art:. Said.

EVER. Cover Art: B-. Graphics: F. Sonic.

Dialogue: D+.

Overall: D-.

But if you're smart, you won't purchase it at all.

never in my god-forsaken Life, have I seen them do THIS much of a piss-poor job with them.

YUCK.

Game.

Length: B-.

Amy and the crew look like their arms have been stretched to all lengths of Hell, in some strange arse torture chamber.

Believe me - I REALLY wanted to like this game.

Not only it is easy to play they have longlasting hours of fun and laughter. I got this game for my 6 & 8 y/o kids and they absolutely love it.

Unfortunatelly, it lay unfinished after 2 renews. And still haven't done that ^.^;;. Overall, the game looks cool, has decent overall controls, but was just a way for Sega to give the fans something before the next-gen version came out, and a way to cash in on him one last time before then. To be honest, I'm not much into racers. I saw a project for making the Sonic Riders forms of everyone and jumped on it, renting a copy for myself. Its definitelly a step up from Sonic R, giving the feeling of speed that a Sonic game should and has slightly imaginative features like the character-type specific shortcuts.

However, I *am* into Sonic games, having picked up stinkers like Shadow the Hedgehog just so I can beat it and put it on the shelf to say I have it along with most of the other Sonic games (I have them all in some way, shape or form, except for the Next-Gen Sonic). I'm also a spriter. If not, go pick up Mario Kart. 2 months later, I finally buy the thing so I can finish my project. Overall, if you're a Sonic Fan, get it.

It changes were I want to go. Buy this game. Sonic riders rocks. you wont be sorry. For example- if I want to go to an air pit, A turbulence can change my direction.

Other than that, the game ROCKS. Here's one flaw-Turbulence. Then I have to wait longer for more air. There lots of boards characters, and other unlokables.
