Designed to work with most iPod models, the ICF-C1iP clock radio accommodates standard iPod adapters, but does not require their use. An adjustable backstop mechanism ensures that the iPod fits snugly and securely to the clock radio's 30-pin connector. An included wireless remote control provides full access to the iPod's menu, as well as to radio tuning and volume functions. Additionally, the unit charges the iPod while it's docked.Sporting a full-function alarm clock, users can wake up or fall asleep to content on their iPod, the radio or a buzzer. When first powered on, the clock will automatically display Eastern Standard Time, which easily can be changed to other time zones as appropriate. Received this "Used" from B&H Photo but it looked New in the Box. That took care of the brightness issue. Controls are pretty much standard, but it pays to keep the manual somewhere under the night stand. Perfect wake-up machine. Les I put a strip of Dark removable window tint film over the display to darken it a bit. No complaints whatsoever.
looks new. but the bottom was damage from what looks like water and only one speaker works i wish i could get my money back
(try that with most things these days) Great overall value not to mention a lot less then a Bose. DG. Once again sony has managed to not just make something really well, but improve on a great idea. I have purchased TVs, video cameras, audio componets and even my PC is a Vaio. This new alarm clock with use for Ipod as well as Iphone has great sound quality and is easy to set and use. For years I have been a loyal Sony fan.
He's happy with it so that is good enough for me. I sent this to my 19 yr old son away at college for his birthday so that he could charge and wake up to his ipod. He also likes that it is portable.
No damage in the delivery, great service. This product is amazing, you have many options to play with it. Roberto. I give 4.50 stars. Just one think i dont like.the speakers are for normal volume; if you increase it the speakers loose the fidelity. Other than that is a incredible device. It works great, versatility and it have good reception for the radio.
