Awesome speed and very reliable to not skip. Easy set up and connection to computer and easy to use. The best burner I have ever purchased.
I went out looking for a Burner i could use with my macbook i already had software but needed to find a burner that was compatible with Mac's i have had this burner for over 2 weeks and have burned probably 30 dvd's no problems it works great and is really quiet plus it can burn up to speeds of 20x this is a great buy.
A bit nosy though, but not nosier than your harddrive's fan. Looks good, works great. Does its job fast and efficient.
Not to say, the USB makes setting up a cinch. I love this external DVD Burner it is a snap to set up and so easy to use. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking to buy a new external DVD burner. It has cut my burning time down from 2 hours on an old computer to approximately 30 minutes.
I used Adobe Encore in which I had assembled my sons recent wedding. I have had no problems with it, all discs burned perfect. The best part is I was able to squeeze all the video's and slide shows in one disc. I was more concerned if it works or not and it did work great. The noise actually did not bother me. This has been my first attempt to burn a DL disc and all went well. I bought this about a week ago and have burned 8 discs. I did not use the enclosed Nero to burn the disc.
