Works great and it's 100% comparable with iphone and every other ipod from apple.

I think this is a great product, and I am not as sensitive as others must be about the amount of light it puts out, so it doesn't keep me awake at all.
This a very good product. The only thing that needs to be addressed is the display is way too bright on the lowest setting. I have put red-tinted plastic wrap over the display and its still too bright.
I went to a retail store with my friend (who has an iphone) and put his iphone in every dockable clock radio to listen to the sound. The Sony was the best by far. Although the user interface is a little awkward, and the remote is kind of superfluous unless you use this as a your music box during the day, the sound really makes it. The most important thing I was looking for was the surpression of GSM buzz. This device does a pretty good job. My last clock radio was so buzzy, that my wife had to keep her iphone in another room or it would make the clock radio buzz loudly several times a night.
I read a ton of reviews and compared 6 or 7 different models before making my selection. My big concern was sound quality and the brightness of the screen. I am more than pleased with both. The sound quality on this unit is incredible, especially for its size. There are 3 settings for the brightness of the screen and even on the brightest setting it was not too bright at all. I love the remote and the ability to control my iPod or radio from across the room. I was nervous about buying something like this without being able to test out the speakers first to see how the sound quality stacked up against other units but I've seen iHome units that friends have and read enough reviews to feel confident in this purchase. Even my husband was surprised/impressed at the sound quality and it takes a lot to impress him. Obviously this is not a full size stereo that is going to throw out a ton of sound but it definitely a good unit for an alarm clock and just around-the-house sound. I am more than happy with this purchase!!!
