The correct EST (Eastern Standard Time) has been preset at the factory, so just plug the clock in and adjust the time zone as necessary. In the case of a power interruption, the built-in Lithium battery maintains the correct time so you don't have to re-set the clock. This Alarm clock is a terrific thing to have especially for those who are not technical savvy. This alarm clock is much better than what I have expected I am very impressed with the settings which makes the old alarm clocks seem like the computers that taken up the whole house. "Not saying that I am not a technical savvy person."
Inexpensive and does everything that I wanted. Nice display, comes with time already set, easy to set alarm, and easy to turn off alarm, no worries about resetting after power interruptions. Very happy with this purchase.
Very nice clock radio for the price. It was for a gift.so I can't rate the performace, but I am sure it is fine.
