The battery was not working and I was sent a new one, in a very timely manner, from the seller. A remote control allows me to play a cd without having to get out of bed. The clock radio is perfect and has the larger numbers that I appreciate when I'm not wearing my contacts. A feature that I was not looking for, but now appreciate is how compact the clock is and how it takes up very little room on my dresser. I would buy from him again in a heart beat.
This one is going back. Also, the sound was a bit distorted. Well, guess freakin' what. I'll get something else.
What a pain in the neck. But because I loved the design of this clock radio, I returned it and got the exact same thing. I'm paying for the auto-set and Sony sound and for the convenience of not having to fight with the thing to listen to my iPod and I want all of that to work. I bought one and had some minor problems with it: the auto time set function didn't work and sometimes when I dock my iPhone, I'll get a little message that the device isn't made to work with the iPhone. It had the exact same problems.
I like the interesting look and that it will charge your Gen 4 Nano. However, sound quality is very poor and the display is way too bright at night for use on your night stand.
I was hoping that this was going to be the final answer. Two alarms is a must for me and its easy to use and set up. I'm sending it back tomorrow. But the sound quality reminded me of my childhood listening to a transistor radio.
Everyone that sees it makes comments on how they want on too. It's cute and works. I don't regret this purchase. I was looking for a product where I can listen to just about everything, my ipod, cd's and radio, depending on my mood.
