I have this product.It is excellent.What i do not understand is how Amazon raised the price since last year then say now it is discounted? I will not buy another one.
I disagree with others that the display is too bright. This is a great radio that we use for playing music for our kids when they go to bed. Quality is good and the Ipod holder seems very sturdy.
I actually for the most part really like this item. Although I do wish the speakers could put out more volume, I realize it's just a little thing, but the sound quality is really, really, good! The "volume" though only goes up to "20", and I often find myself pushing the remote to increase it, thinking it will go higher! Hopefully I'll get over that eventually. The brightness of the light isn't so bad, as long as you put it on the "lowest" setting. Yes, it is bright, but I don't find it hindering my sleep at all. I love the large number display. Easy to read from a distance, like another reviewer said. It takes up very little room, which I also like. I recommend this overall.
This clock is compact and has great features: dual alarm, wake to CD, ipod,radio or buzzer, and self-setting time. The sound is not as excellent as my previous Sony CD alarm, but it is fine. After all, it is much smaller and is an alarm clock; not a stereo system. The face is a little bright, but I just turn it away from me when I sleep. If I want to know the time in the middle of the night, I just turn it back. I highly recommend it.
This is a great looking little device that would be perfect for my needs if only it had a HEADPHONE JACK!! What's that all about? Why on earth would Sony ever produce a bedside unit like this without a headphone jack? And so, I'm taking it back tomorrow. Can't use it and it's a shame.
