I've been trying to find a radio alarm clock that would also play -- and recharge -- my ITouch. This is perfect for what I need. The pros: decent sound quality, the fact that it recharges the ITouch as well as plays it; big readable clock numbers; the small footprint on my nightstand; and the CD function. The only con I've discovered is that it is easy to brush against buttons you don't intend to push. BTW, I don't mind the brightness of the numbers, which some users find too bright at night time. This will be a matter of personal taste. And I love being able to read the time from across the room without my glasses on. :) I also want to note that my expectations for sound quality for a multi-function clock radio are not the same as what I expect from a true sound dock. So I was actually pleasantly surprised to hear the sound of this unit. It's more than fine for a clock radio and that fact that it will play -- and recharge -- my IPod, my ITouch, and my IPhone is fantastic. Would I buy this again? Absolutely.

it's bright, so I can see it. this is a 'con' for some, but I like it.
it keeps time and has several alarm features. all in all i say it's fine.
I bought this to replace an old Emerson radio I used in my kitchen to listen to AM radio. This thing sounds like it's in a tin can! Terrible sound! I now have an 8 year old Sony Dream machine I'm listening to. It's just a radio that I paid about $30 for and it sounds better than this $90 machine! The radio reception is actually better on my old Dream Machine than this current Dream Machine. It may be great to just listen to for a few minutes as an alarm, but really you'll get the same quality from a much cheaper machine. I'm going to keep looking for a replacement.
This product is perfect for my needs as I needed an alarm clock/radio/cd player for my bedside table.
The good:
The compact size is fantastic!
The price for what you get is awesome!
Large buttons - easy to hit snooze button and CD button
The alarm is programmable and can be set to only go off on weekdays.
The CD player has various repeat modes so I can have it repeat once or repeat all night.
The iphone/ipod dock is icing on the cake. I love the slide-out dock.
The sound is very good for a clock/radio/cd player! The sound is adequate for my needs. This is not a stereo system - it is a clock/radio/cd player so do not expect Bose sound quality.
The bad:
The CD player is very noisy as it spins - distractingly so, if the sound is not turned up very high.
The sound is not great but about on par with other clock radios in this price range.
Otherwise I would have rated it 5 stars
The main reason I chose this device is to set a different volume for wake up than used for sleep music. The device performs this flawlessly. The controls are very easy to get even without reading the manual if you have some knowledge of how alarms function.
The LED light, as mentioned in other reviews, was slightly bright but not to the extent that others have stated.
Overall, I really like this radio.
