With two of these, I feel quite confident that I will never run out of power when recording without access to AC power. This battery gives me much more recording time. The battery that shipped with my Sony DCR-TRV18 just did not have enough capacity to last very long while recording. I feel more comfortable buying the SONY batteries, than "compatible" batteries that come from who knows where.
I had bought a replacement battery a while back. It has long life and a nice battery strength meter. I should have just bought this one.
Highly recommeneded. In all honesty - the charge on this battery lasts FOREVER lol. Amazing capacity. I used my camcorder to record a basketball game (so say 2 hours), plus our vacation, lets add another 2 hours, I still had MORE than 4 hours left of charge.
To many. FACTORY.FACTORY.FACTORY. Go for it. times I go for price. Pay more, get the best. get. Never again. If it says 2.5 hours, that's what you.
It was received within a couple of days of order and it works fine. The product was very reasonably prices compared to other sites.
