This HDMI connector cable specifically designed to connect newer Sony HD camcorders with a compatible HD TV set, works just perfectly, resulting in a flawless transmission of images and 5.1 surround sound.
So be careful in your selection. This cable probably works fine, but unfortunately it is not compatible with the newer Sony models. The connection adapter is much larger than the new ports allow.
Kinda bogus that it doesn't come with the Sony HDR-SR7 that I purchased but you need the cable for High Def. At least Amazon has it at a good price.
Pioneer PDP-5080HD 50" 720p Plasma HDTV. However, the plasma screen was broken on the first two deliveries. I have heard horror stories about purchasing HD TVs online but 6Ave did a great job on returns and price protection. The third delivery was fine. Since I purchased the TV from 6Ave Electronics, a certified online Pioneer dealer, there were no problems concerning the return. The TV is excellent.
they are the only ones manufacturing them and have to buy the cable from them. it ticks me off that sony makes these types of cables. They do it bec. They should have just made my hd camcorder regular hdmi cable on both ends.
