I run 3 miles EVERYDAY and I have NEVER had a problem with this unit. I've had this walkman for about 7 or 8 yrs. Can't believe after all this time, this one is still available. The sound is great and it doesn't eat up your tapes like other walkmans. and I must say it is one of the best purchases that I've ever made. Don't take my word for it.try it out.
