If you do not listen to the top, up the control of a bass -an audiophile would not do this- and may notice the mistake of recording. I do not recommend it, then buy it, obviously. The repetition of the defect becomes irritating as the brain detects the problem and thus renders ineffective the recording for the purpose you want to meet. In principle, it tested a CD Player SACD, pre MLevinson 380s, Class A valve amp and speakers JMLab. I want to clarify a little more the subject of low-frequency sound that possesses this CD.
but i still don't think it's great. Not that any of these lyrics are hard to write. end note: i'll be watching for his next single. enough.
it's not mindless but it's nothing new either. 3.3 stars. i'd take it. over 200,000 views. Anyway, I heard this song for the first time today and it's alright.
And then the 'hiding from his tears in the rain' and admitting that his 'emotions are out of his control' got me to like the song. Everyone seems to do it these days but for me it never really gets old. but if i had to take it or leave it. The rhythm; the way he sings it is the best part of the song.
and i'm so surprised that he's caught on the way he has on youtube. I just think that the way he lets his heart rest on his sleeve is nice.
when I have trouble getting to sleep. is gentle rain, sometimes a little harder, sometimes a little softer. Since I love the sound of rain, I play this c.d. It always relaxes me and I find it does lull me to sleep. This entire c.d.
The house next door was rented to partying college students. The volume does fluctuate as the rain gets heavier and lighter. This one was rain just rain and non-repeating. Desperate, I tried several rain CDs before landing on this one. The cheaper CDs had 30 second or two minute loops, which I found to be very distracting; often with a click as the loop repeats. I found this CD to be invaluable. Another CD I tried had birds and other things going on. I don't hear the low-frequency rumble another reviewer complained of, probably because I am playing it on a $100 ministereo system bought in haste at the same time.
Nothing to distract. I had purchased other rain and ocean surf CDs. When I awaken in the night and have trouble falling back to sleep, I put this in my bedside CD player and let it run. Just the relaxing, sleep-inducing sound of rain. No electronic enhancement by a misguided record producer. Another reviewer complained about being able to detect the repeating rain segment.
As other reviewers have written, this CD contains only the gentle sound of rain. Perhaps I fell asleep too soon. The white-noise effect is perfect for encouraging deep sleep. No music. Might be some genetic carryover from our ancient ancestors. This pure rain CD is the best.
No Birds. However, I tried to hear it, but failed.
