this product is nice & it protects the ipod. my only complaint about it is that it doesn't cover the screen. so, your screen can get scratched & dirty. the last ipod case i had for the nano i bought when i bought my nano (i was in the best buy store). that case covered the screen. i liked that one much better. so, while this one is nice... i'd prefer one that covered the screen. if i'd have known this one didn't cover the screen i wouldn't have bought it.
This product was overall pretty nice. My only problem was that there was not any plastic over the screen. Therefore, NO SCREEN PROTECTION!!! They seller did include a plastic sleeve cover thing to put over the ipod, then you would Put the main plastic cover over the ipod. Another nice thing was that there are 3 different colored cases plus the clip that came with this product. GREAT DEAL TOO!!! Shipping was great, product came fast within a few days with the standard shipping option of 3-5 days!

First off, I would like to say that the item I received was, although partially what I ordered, different. I ordered the clear case, it came with a clear, a transparent purple, a transparent black, and a clip back. If they had worked, I would have loved this little 'surprise', but they didn't so I'm not so thrilled.
Secondly, I ordered a Skinit for my nano (which I love) but the cases won't snap around it -- which was the whole point in buying a hard, clear case, so I could see the design through it. I was thoroughly disappointed, but for five dollars, I don't think it's quite worth the hassle to return.
I don't know how this works on nanos without a Skinit (it was more expensive than the case so I didn't take mine off), so I can't say whether or not it works, but if you have an iPod with a Skin, beware!!
This was a great buy for the price, and I'm not sure why there are so many tough reviews. Perhaps people have purchased something similar from another seller and have written their reviews in the wrong area? The product I received was actually better than expected. It came with three different colors to choose from, a clear screen protector and an optional clear plastic belt-clip. Good Stuff; highly recommended.
I was really looking for a substitute for my old wet-suit sport case, which seems to be discontinued, that had the marvelous spring-loaded clip (like a chip clip). This just comes with the standard "belt clip" option. Entirely useless for my lifestyle.
Also bits of dirt get in and under the case.
