This makes the game all but unplayable for me. Characters jump across the screen rather than move smoothly. FRAME RATE. What a mistake. So much potential here, if only they'd have made it like a PS2 game should be made, instead of the choppy frame rates of PS1 times. After reading many glowing reviews about this game, I decided to pick it up. Whoa. It's absolutely terrible in this game.
Battles last only a few minutes sometimes, as I ran to the front the battle ended before I even fired a shot. I don't have internet access at home, hence no ability to play the multiplayer section, so that may explain why I didn't cotton to it. From the single player perceptive, this game would have been great fun if it played more like Call of Duty. Fix these items in future games, and it may be captivating. I'm new at playing this kind of game and had a hard time making certain features work properly. You don't feel like you're part of anything. Battlefront doesn't have characters with any depth at all.
If you're interested in this game, I suggest buying it used. On the good side, it has the Star Wars feel, and you can play both the rebel and imperial sides. Playing this game made me want to watch the films, rather than continue with the game. Lots of weapons, vehicles, etc.

On a rating scale of 1-5, I'll give this game a 4. In a Galaxy far, far away.the battle between the light and the dark side continues. If you're a Halo fan this game could be for you, like any first person shooter you can only have so much fun playing against the A.I., and this is definitely a multiplayer game. I can hear him playing it from the other room and it's cool how the game will tell him which way to go by stating comments such as "over here". Great game. My son loves this game.
