Star Wars Episode 2: Attack of the Clones
Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones follows the events of latest movie and takes you into the action!
Using the power of the Force, players assume the role of three different Attack of the Clones heroes: Anakin Skywalker, Mace Windu, or Obi-Wan Kenobi. Players must wield their lightsabers in combat against the mysterious Jango Fett, the evil Count Dooku, and various other enemies from the Star Wars universe. Star Wars: Episode II, Attack of the Clones closely follows the story line of the film and will feature three modes of gameplay. First, players can ride their choice of swoop bikes, Republic fighters, and speeders in 3-D-scrolling, third-person racing. The second mode features space combat. The third mode of play involves side-scrolling lightsaber action. Twelve unique levels take gamers to various Attack of the Clones locations, such as Tatooine, Geonosis, and the streets of Coruscant.

My 7 year old doesn't think too highly of this game, but I could see myself playing it for a while. If you really loved Attack of the Clones, you'll probably actually like this game, but again, give yourself time to get used to the controls. There are far better Star Wars games out there. It's just better. This game has some serious control issues, but once you get used to them, it's not too bad. In fact, I'd recommend the Lego Star Wars game for a better overall experience, kiddy game or not.
I haven't had the plesure of playing this game yet, because i don't have a game boy advanced nor a gamecube or gameboy player. they should've made a ps2 version. But i think it would be an awesome game to play.
The story line (if any) to the movie was no where nearly followed, and the title cards that explain the plot bored me into into oblivian. The music sounds as if John Williams had no role in it. I even tried to write down all of the pass codes, but by the time i was done playing and writing my batteries had died. This was just another example of Lucas Arts trying to milk the Star Wars franchise. The game was horrible and not even worth the lint in my pocket. I also did not enjoy the fact that if I got to Level 9 and felt like stopping I would lose all of data from before. The side scrolling adventure and the horrible graphics further retard the game. Don't get me wrong I am a diehard Star Wars fan, yet to me this game was a huge suckfest.
The entire game is a side scroller that is loosely based on the movie. I am a die hard Star Wars fan, this game is an abomination of the Star Wars franchise. Even the music seems as though John Williams had nothing to do with it. On the back it said you could choose your Jedi, but when I started Playing I did not have a choice. I bought this game about the same time that the movie came out, and i was seriously let down. Also the inability to save just added to the over all let down of this game. I am saying this as a fan do not buy this game.
MY GRANDSON REALLY ENJOYS THIS. AND THE PRICE WAS RIGHT. WHAT MORE COULD ANYONE WANT.
