Star Wars Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast

New Republic Intelligence (NRI): An organization that is the successor to the old network of Rebel spies and other interim groups such as the Senate Interplanetary Intelligence Network (SPIN). In the New Republic goverment, the NRI falls under the jurisdiction of the General Ministry. The headquarters of the NRI lies deep within Coruscant, although they have safe houses throughout the galaxy on planets such Corellia and Wayland.

In the tradition of the multi-award-winning Star Wars: Jedi Knight, Star Wars: Jedi Knight 2, Jedi Outcast features rebel agent Kyle Katarn in exhilarating first-person action. Several years have passed since Kyle avenged his father's death and saved the Valley of the Jedi from Jerec and his band of Dark Jedi. Allowing his Force powers to languish for fear of falling to the dark side, Kyle entrusted his lightsaber to Luke Skywalker, vowing never to use it again. But when a new and menacing threat to the galaxy emerges, Kyle knows he must reclaim his past in order to save his future.

LucasArts is developing Jedi Outcast in partnership with Activision's critically acclaimed Raven Software. Players assume the role of Kyle as they employ a unique mix of weapons, Force powers, and the lightsaber in both single- and multiplayer modes. Jedi Outcast features expanded and enhanced use of the lightsaber, with new attack and defense moves. Tap into the powers of the Force, including jump, push, Jedi mind tricks, and more. Employ combat or stealth, depending on the situation. When a fight is necessary, be at the ready with an arsenal of weapons: stun baton, Bryar blast pistol, and blaster rifle to name but a few.

Explore breathtaking Star Wars locales such as Cloud City, the Jedi Academy on Yavin 4, Nar Shaddaa, the smugglers' moon--plus some never-before-seen locations. Multiplayer options include deathmatch, saber-only deathmatch, and team capture the flag.

Star Wars Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast Reviews

Great multuiplayer game. Server is so easy to setup, my 10 year old grandson did it on his own. The single player game is great too and challenging. I play with my grandkids in Indiana and my daughter in California, we have a blast.

Get the idea. The bad side, if you don't like jumping around or spending a lot of time to figure out where the road is supposed to turn, you are going to become quite frustrated. Or hit speed boost, throw your lightsaber, run through a group of baddies and wait for the saber to catch up to you and take out all the baddies. Storyline is good, yet the cinema scenes are limited to ships and ok short videos. There are upteen ways to slash, jump, force pull weapons, push droids around, trick that idiot trooper, and be an all-around Imperial stomping machine. Like the title says, my favorite thing to do is to choke the enemy, turn, and drop him from a high place, and there are plenty of those.

Or you can just raise him 30 feet in the air on flat ground and drop him. Jumping puzzles over bottomless pits and finding cracks in the walls that lead to the next area are all too common. Or throw your lightsaber. Overall, if you want a hack-and-slash game that has plenty of puzzles to figure out, this is the game for you. The interaction between the characters in these sequences are limited to the world of the game (i.e. That about sums up the fun of the game. There are walkthroughs out there that help, yet for some reason, I couldn't alt-tab my game.

no cinema, just polygons and sharp movements). You don't start out with force powers, but you pick them up fairly quickly. You can do a lot with it, more so than other Star Wars games, or like genre games. Not sure if that is user error or not, yet most other graphics-intensive games I play can. Or use force lightning to zap a group. I spent half my time in the game on those two areas alone.

The game is so bad lucasarts should of stop the game from being sold. The game needed 2 stars for how fun it is and for its overall but when moded the game is fun. But when you mod the game it the best game in the world. So don't get the game for gc,xb and ps2 version's just get it for pc because that's the only one that you can mod.

I absolutely hate it when people say that this game was hard. And this was when it first came out, when I was about twelve years old our around there maybe thirteen. I got it the week it came out and that Christmas vacation, me and my brothers were glued to the computer playing that game, or at least watching me play it. I beat it on normal in one week. I have beaten that game five times now and it never gets old. But, anyway this game was so fun. You know what.

I really liked Jedi Academy but this game is not that great. There are way to many puzzles - I don't mind puzzles but there are simply way to many. I would recomend you to get Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy - way better the puzzles aren't insain and you get to choose what you look like and.well I could go on but i'll leave it there. I have cheat codes so I can have all wepons and all amo and I can be undying. I guess the first thing i'll say is that I got Jedi Academy BEFORE I got this game. Just don't get this game. If you aredy have Jedi Academy and you want another star wars game that is $20 then you sould get Battlefront thats anoter great game.

I was HUGELY dissaponted. There are partes in this game that are INSAINLY tought. And some on them are insainly hard.
