Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy Reviews
I love the options the game gives you, you get to create your very own player and your color of your light saber(s), or staff. This was a well put together game and it did surpass the outcast version. The more options you have the better the game is. The only thing that it didn't have was those mini gun turrents when you go to play multiplayer.
The sound was great, as well. I played through this game more times than I can count. The AI is terrible.
The storyline was great, too. The lightsaber choices: beyond awesome. It was difficult when it needed to be and the learning curve is very quick.
It's VERY fun with human players, though. This game was SO much fun. Very fun.The only thing I didn't like was the AI of the characters during games like Capture the Flag, etc.
you can be a female Twi'lek, but not a male one). You play a new student at Luke Skywalker's Jedi Academy, running various missions on your way to becoming a Jedi Knight. This is an entertaining game despite its advancing age. The character building element (you create your own character) is surprisingly limited; there are only a few species to choose from, and with most you can only play as one gender (ex. Not as strong as Jedi Outcast, but still a worthy Star Wars experience that'll satisfy your lightsaber urges until the eventual motion-controlled Wii game comes out.
The lightsaber combat is the game's strong point, and it's fun to run through the levels hacking enemies and demolishing them with your stable of force powers. All in a day's work. You'll meet famous Star Wars faces and eventually uncover an evil that threatens the galaxy. The story is decent, but because you're undertaking individual missions at a time the narrative isn't as cohesive as it might be.
You'll have a lot of fun. While the graphice are so-so, the jedi abilities and light saber action is perrrrrfect. I think that this is one of the better jedi action game that's out there. Try the game if you haven't played it yet.
When I first got this game for christmas I was thinking oh-no because I had played it before on PC and it wasn't that fun. Cons: You can't really make your person look like you want him to look like there are only three male human heads to choose from. All in all this game is good and I recomend buying it.
Pros: The levals are cool. The lightsabers are cool. This game is really fun.
The graphics aren't the greatest luke sometimes looks like a girl. Well when I played it on X-Box I had a really fun time playing it. From just joining the academy to killing your friend.
