Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II Reviews
But there are negatives, it was rushed, the game play curve can take up to 3 entire play throughs, but this can be a good thing. Anyone who gives it 3 or below hasn't played it twice, or spent time exploring the new features such as Influence(stroke of genus) work bench buff's and overall game interface. When I played this game the 1st way through I'd give it 3 stars, but each time i play this game, I get a better experience and learned to love the different characters, new features, and locations more and more.
My hope is for a better follow-up on the 360 platform. It would have felt like a "true sequel" that way. It is still a great game, but it is not the original. My problem with KOTOR:II is the whole "I've got to start all over" feel to the game. There should have been a way for the game to acknowledge that you played through the first in the series, and allowed the player to level up faster or skip certain aspects.
the game is probabally flawless to you. However for those of us who were just looking for a good game this one fits the bill. If your a big Star Wars person. It is not made as well as the first in the series but its a nice carry on for the story and more light sabre and force power fun.
Every choice you make changes the galaxy. Our 9 year old says there is lots of action and loads of surprises in this game.
The story is pretty good, but kinda weird. The graphics are slightly improved, but I would have liked to have seen it upgraded a bit more. This one is much harder, which can make parts of it frustrating. This game is a great RPG, especially for being a sequel. When you really come down to it, this game is just more of the same, which is kind of a good thing since the first was so great. Its a long enough game to be worth buying I think. This is not made by Bioware, but is still very good.
Everything that made the first game great is here. The one noticeable difference from the first one is the difficulty. I would highly recommend this to fans of the series, and if you're into RPGs period, I'd say at least rent it. The sound and music and such are good like in the original.
