This is an excellent product and tastes exactly like what you would find at your local Starbucks. You can make it at home for less than half the price. The house blend is a mild flavor coffee for those who aren't familar with it.
This cup is better than I've had at some bistros, since it is brewed absolutely fresh in your cup.
If you LIKE Starbuck's coffee, you will like this brew. However, I like the taste of this coffee and it precisely mimics the coffee you can obtain at a Starbucks.
People will read the title of my review and either take it as a compliment or an insult to the coffee produced by these t-discs. If you want a STRONGER Starbucks blend, I recommend Starbucks Africa Kitamu, T-Discs for Tassimo System, 6.1-Ounce Packages (Pack of 2).
However, I like it at full strength.
It DOES produce a strong cup of coffee, but you can dilute the coffee by using the manual setting on the Bosch TAS4511UC Tassimo Single-Serve Coffee Brewer, Silk Silver after brewing the initial cup.
Why would you pay over $20 for them. these disks cost $8.99 at Tassimo.com.
Slightly over priced but still cheaper than the store price depending on how much coffee you drink Good brew.
Tassimo was my first "disk" coffee system, and was looking for simple, fast, but good coffee on a daily basis. And ordering additional disks from Amazon is just as easy. Tassimo + Starbucks disks = perfect solution (for my purposes anyway). It does just what I'd hoped: Makes coffee reliably, quickly, every time.
