SteelSeries QcK Mini Mouse Pad (Black) Reviews
:) Let alone anything else SteelSeries makes. For the cheapest mouse pad SteelSeries makes this is excellent. I would recommend upgrading to SteelSeries Experience I-1. You don't have to be a graphic designer to enjoy the ease of their mouse pads.
The bottom is textured cloth but the fibers seem to coated with rubber and does have a slight textured rubber feel to it. It provides just enough resistance for my general mouse usage and gaming since I'm used to the resistance cloth and foam mousepads give.
The surface is finely stitched (nylon). For the price, it's very similar to the foam and cloth mousepads BestBuy sells in their stores except this one has a logo in the lower left.
I had hoped it would grip the smooth laminated surface better, but it doesn't. Unfortunately, I'm using it on a laminated wood desk/table and the pad will slide forward as I'm gaming or readjusting my gel wristpad.
I will be looking for a heavier and thicker mouse pad in the future. and has a nice cloth texture.
I bought this pad to replace a aging 5 year old Belkin Gel Wristpad.
It comes rolled up, it might take awhile to flatten out 100%. anything bigger wouldn't even fit on my desk. Nice and thin. I wouldn't call it a "mini" mouse pad, though. Great mouse pad. I hate thick mouse pads. Slick.
The cloth feels of high quality build and it feels great with my MX518. Cheap, clean and large, but not too large. The mousepad is simply a great buy.
I have a small desk and use a high sensitivity, so this was the perfect size for me as I don't make large movements with my mouse. This is easily the best mousepad I've ever used, my Copperhead just glides across it like butter. Highly recommended, and if I ever need another mousepad down the line I'll be buying another one of these. I have this mousepad paired with a Razer Copperhead and an Allsop memory foam wrist wrest and it's an amazing combination. Tracking is also perfect, and my K:D ration in FPS games as gone up dramatically. If you're considering this pad and you do make large movements, you may want to consider one of the larger versions, as this is the smallest they make. Before this I had an Allsop mousepad as well, and while it was serviceable, this pad blows it out of the water.
