Radio Shack Gold Serier Subwoofer Cable Reviews

So get this or a Y splitter adapter. This made it a lot simpler. Those that have a subwoofer with left and right jacks, u can hear the difference when using just left or right vs. I didnt really want to get a Y splitter adapter; then I woulda had to figure out which ends I wanted to be male and female. something like this. This really helped me.

exactly as described. Product received (very quickly). Great seller, would do business with again.

Quick delivery. This is actually a Radio Shack brand cable according to the plastic box it came in.

This cable is only helpful if you have a really old receiver or subwoofer because it is the wrong type to use in modern home theater systems. However if you do need the cable it is simply a radio shack cable that was sent from a catalog electronics retailer, don't worry they will also send you a catalog. I would not buy this product again and still have it in the original packaging. The manual that came with my receiver advised against using this type of cable so instead I used the cable that came with my subwoofer.

Other than that, these work great. I tried daisy chaining cheap ones together from sub to sub and the last few wouldn't work at all. It increased the signal strength and gave a much more solid connection. It took so much force, I had to be careful not to break anything. I replaced 3 sub cables that were going to amps with only the left (mono)input cable in them. This was an good deal at $15 for 4 delivered. That's how I found out sub cables really do matter.

Quality-wise, these are a solid medium grade. I knocked down a star for this reason. That's a HUGE step up from your standard red/white rca connections. As a matter a fact, these were not easy to push on all the way. I'm very happy with this purchase.
