This was the most frustrating item I have ever put together. That was the trick. I had all the sides together and the lid would not fit. If you have the patience of a saint purchase otherwise don't bother I turned, pull, pushed, swore and finally precede to use a metal mallet. If I could have taken the box back apart it would have gone back for a refund.
The ones I saw sold in the stores only hold 4 cushions. My six cushions do squeeze in there, so I'm happy with it. This was a great price for the size. I shopped around and couldn't find a large deck box.
This is the perfect size for our patio. Also, an hour after I put it on the patio it rained really hard and everything stayed dry. It finally came together but by then we really needed a drink. The instructions are clear but the snapping together is not easy. The pads for two chairs, a sofa and a swing fit in it nicely with some room to spare. But wait till you get to add the lid. That took a good 20 minutes of my husband and me sitting on it hard and repeatedly hitting it with a mallet. My one complaint is that no matter what people say, the assembly is quite an experience.
We however purchased it for the wheels, which turned out to be small long cylinders, that do not work. This fits nicely on our deck, and holds an extreme amount of yard equipment, so in that regard it is wonderful.
- Very sturdy. I did make the mistake of putting one piece on backwards and it was a pain to get it apart to correct. - Too light when empty. You will have to put this together, but for the most part it's pretty straight forward. Pros. - Protability is nice feature. Cons.
- Easy to assemble. - Nice looks and color for molded plastic. It would be nice if there was a way to put sand to keep in place. This storage box was a great buy and looks nice for being made of plastic. - Top door does not latch or lock shut.
