That goes to show that graphics arent everything and gameplay is the thing that matters. This is umbelievable. Nintendo, I love you. It's 2007 and this is still one of my favorite games.
I fully recommend this game to anyone that owns a Gameboy, Gameboy Pocket, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, or Gameboy Advance SP. There are many fun levels and power ups. You can save 3 game files on one game cartridge. Super Mario Land 2 is awesome.
If you like the Super Mario games like I do, I recommend this to you. That is the only one I do not have. Which is also good is when you get hit when you have fire power or the bunny ears, you just become super mario again and not become small. I swear when I first got this game, I couldn't put it down for hours. Concept: A+.
I'd say the hardest is the Space Zone (that took me a long time to beat at first), before you get to Wario's Castle. Overall: A. Some of the bosses are easy to beat also. There are 6 different levels in this game, Space Zone, Pumpkin Zone, Mario Zone, Turtle Zone, Tree Zone, & Marco Zone which signifies the 6 golden coins concept. P.S.- As I mentioned earlier, there are secret levels in every zone. The new one is when he gets bunny ears which causes him to float in the air and continously jump when you hold the jump button. Mario can still become Super Mario (what happens when you get the mushroom) and spit fireballs.
The Game "Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins" was probably the first game I received when I got my Gameboy somewhere between 1992-1993. Thanks. Is there one for that zone, and if it is can someone tell me how to get to it. Graphics: A.
There are also hidden stages in this game to find, and when you beat them the zone setting will change (like in the Tree Zone, you will see flowers and such). The game was hard at first, but as you gain experience, it gets easier and easier (I might have beaten the game about 100 times now). Special powers aren't really anything too new. As I said before, I received this game sometime when it first came out, and it is still fun to play 13 years later.
I found all of them except the one for the Mario Zone. Game Play: A+. Difficulty: A-.
so anyway, my point is super mario land 2 is WAY better then 1. but if you beat the game it's best to start over. it's good for long car trips. Here are some number reveiws:. Not that much though.
The enemies, mushrooms, and question blocks are big like the gba mario games. Overall the game is pretty good for a gameboy color. The game isnt to hard. fun 9/10. Super mario land 2 is a big step from 1. sound: 8/10.
I ran into a goomba thinking it was a mushroom. music: 9/10. graphics: 7/10. Only Warios castle is REALLY hard. This gbc game is way better then the first super mario land. In the first one the goombas, mushrooms, and question blocks are almost microscopic.
Its very fun but the levels may get a little repetitive. levels 7/10.
I am horrible at game boy, but it is fun. (It might be hard to me because i am an adult and don't really know how to play Game Boy.Actually That Is Why. Ask mom or dad to buy this for you off amazon if you want a fun challenge. My next-dor neighbor, Matt Aurand Has This and let me borrow it. So play it, kids.
