the charges doesn't hold for too long, at most 70 minutes run time on HV30.
It is not 1500mah as state neither, but it is higher 1900mah. If you have Canon HV30 or black camcorder, be aware that this battery is silver color not gray or black as show.
Stored them fully charged for about 3 months. By comparison the original battery from canon only lost about one quarter of its charge in three months and is working the same as new. Tried to recharge them but they wouldn't hold a charge no matter how many times or how long i put them on the charger. They worked fine for a while. You wouldn't want to miss videotaping an important event due to battery failure. Purchased two of this batteries in September of 2007. DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT, they are unreliable. When i tried to use them again both batteries had fully discharged, after charging them they each ran for about one minute each and died.
The only reason I did not give this a 5 was because it seems loose in the camera, but it does work great, and the price, well, you can't beat it. I purchased two of them.
super value, especially paired with the $9 Dekcell Camcorder battery charger. So far have about 20 cycles on it from my Canon HV-20 camcorder. Must-have addition to your camera bag.
