It works very well, but the USB connectors can come out easily if you move your laptop around. Very portable and handy.
enough power for the drive to work reliably, even. Good value for the price. with power from 2 USB ports. power adapter to supply power to the drive. Only drawback is that my laptop could not supply. Had to buy an external.
The CD drive on my six year old Dell pooped out for no apparent reason and rather than spend big money to replace or fix it or replace the entire system, I tried this as a quick fix. It works fine and saved me time, money and stress.I made a good choice and am very pleased.
