She absolutely loved it. These won't stand up to really young kids pulling at the pop ups, but older toddlers will enjoy these type of books. We have the Cinderella book by Matthew Reinhart and decided to ordered The Ark for a friend's daughter for her second birthday. The Cinderella book is out of reach from our 18 month old, otherwise it would be in rough shape.
I highly recommend this book. I bought this book to add to my collection of pop-ups but I also thought it would be a splendid show and tell for children in church school and my grandchildren. It brings to life Noah's ark. The book captivates them and they can't wait for me to turn to the next page.
A definite hit. The pop-ups are truly amazing, and the fold outs add more to each page. we usually get them from the library.
It brings the story to life, and is a great way for inquisitive little minds to get into the story. I have to admit, we rarely buy books. It's well written, and great for the kids.
You feel as if you can step onto the pages and into the boat. I am giving this to our 2 and 3 year old cousins as well- this makes a great gift. It captivates the mind and curiosity of our three year old, and she just loves it.
This book is definitely one that you want on your shelves permanently. Wish they had these when we were little.
This book is a perfect gift for a young child. It is the perfect book for a parent or grandparent to read with a child. It should be shared with an adult since the pop up is so elaborate and somewhat delicate. I very highly recommend this book.
Every Reinhart pop-up book is wonderful. That last one is also splendid.
