The Chase Reviews
Clive Cussler is my favorite author. Get over it, it's still great. The Chase is right up there with the best of them, even though it is not a NUMA theme.
Great book and has great characters and enough linkage to actual history to make it a great read.
This is one of Clive Cussler's best books to date. Perhaps its because the books is steeped with well-researched historical fact. Perhaps its the fast pacing and fun "chase".but overall, it's his most enjoyable books in years. I couldn't put the book down well paced, fast-flowing, with interesting characters. Sure, it feels like a rehash of a "Wild WIld West" episode but it's fabulous fun at that. Perhaps it is because it strays from the NUMA formula, and the predictable characters.
Amazing detail in the character descriptions. I can't wait to see Clive write another novel starring Issac Bell. Great classic detective novel.
I was hesitant at first since this book was not the type that Cussler usually writes about but once I started reading it, it was hard to put down.
