I especially enjoyed the emphasis on the closeknit family. What a nice change to have a movie without violence, swearing, and sexuality - something the entire family can watch. We watch this movie each year at Christmastime. Themes such as loyalty, patriotism, enduring love, longlasting marriage, and hope round out this great film.
Even my husband enjoyed it. It is very good and highly entertaining. This is one of the best Hallmark movies I have seen.
It has nothing objectionable in it, not even any bad words. It is a very clean movie suitable for families. We enjoyed the movie very much. I found this movie quite by accident. We watched the movie, and found it so good that I ordered it to watch every year.

I love the acting, Ed Asner played a wonderful loving father. A great holiday movie for the whole family. Left you with that warm fuzzy feeling. Great casting off all characters.
