The Command and Conquer Collection Reviews
My favourite of the bunch is Red Alert 2, a game I spent hours and hours of my time playing, editing and playing some more. From about 11 years old when I first played the original Command and Conquer to now, playing Command and Conquer 3. This collection is well worth investing in.
These earlier C&C's are also really easy to edit and create new skirmish maps on third party map makers and unit stat editors, once again extending the life of these games. Put simply, I grew up on Command and Conquer. The game play is super addictive, the campaign modes are fun and sometimes quite challenging.
The skirmish maps, on all of the games in the series add tons of extra life and fun to the games. There are two story lines in the series, there is the GDI verses NOD games that include the original command and conquer and Tiberian Sun and then there is the more politically realistic Red Alert games that speculate on the events of world wars between the capitalist West and the Soviet Union.
Just hours and hours of pure fun, great singe player stories, campaigns and videos, and more. Red Alert 2 and Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge were FANTASTIC though, and they are what makes this a great set in my opinion. I've heard some people like Tiberian Sun, but I just don't like the graphics. Okay, I didn't really care for Tiberian Sun, but I thought Renegade was enjoyable. The bottom line is that if you enjoyed the earlier C&C games like C&C or Red Alert 1, you'll surely enjoy Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge. I think you might be able to get a better deal getting Command and Conquer the First Decade though, and from the looks of it you'll get more games for your money than with this pack, so if I was thinking of buying this I'd probly go that way instead.
Plus, you'll get Renegade. They picked a great actor to play Tanya for Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge as well. Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge on the other hand.
She seems better suited to the role than the Tanya from Red Alert 1, and she has some great new abilities that the old Tanya didn't have.
time continuum changing when hitler is taken out of the picture. WHAT. I set it aside for a while but on a real boring day i decided to install it and play it. I received red alert as a birthday gift from my uncle around.i dunno possibly 8-10 years ago. massive gameplay death. Wow, this brings me back. When I saw this come out I bought it immediately. war.
I guess some freak accident from a family member oblivious to their surroundings, or quite possibly a well placed hammer so to speak. I stared at it a while thinking what the heck kinda game is this. I hogged the family computer until I bought my own.
Red Alert was the first RTS I ever played. Thanks Westwood, this was a bold move and I appreciate it so much. Then later on when tiberian sun and red alert 2 came out, well I bought those too.
You just can't beat the price. Either way, my discs were destroyed and it would cost me way to much money to go out and buy them all separately again. But out of the blue my discs were crushed.
It was like crack, i was hooked. What was I thinking when i set this game aside.
I only play strategy type games and to date, my favorite is Command & Conquer. I do not care which C & C game. I like all the C & C games. Naturally the newer the game the better the programming, audio and video are.
Price was really good shipping was quick and great. I am a big fan of these games. Not even a single comlaint about this product I already played tis game my old copies were not working anymore so I got them from here.
