I like the size of the puzzle itself and the puzzles are semi-hard to solve. I wish they would come out with different books like this with different puzzles in them. It is a pleasure to work these puzzles. This crossword book is the best I have ever had. I have been doing crossword puzzles for over 40 years. I would rather have this puzzle book than any other I have bought. I buy the same book every year.
Do not buy this product if you are the kind of person who will have trouble putting it down unless you truly have nothing else to do. Some of the very hard puzzles have clues and/or answers containing words that I can't find in any dictionary. This book contains an absurdly large amount of high quality puzzles.
I am a fairly accomplished puzzler, and I find most of the puzzles too trivial to spend time on. The puzzles are OK, but most of them are very simple and not really worth doing.
So, I have to razor out the pages and pretend I am doing a much reduced in size puzzle from the paper. No. More's the pity. Well, I was warned about the size of this monster, but did I heed the advice. I'm glad I bought it because it will last longer than I will. The bad news is that none of my heirs do crosswords.
She was running puzzles off the internet and having a hard time reading them because the print was so small. For the price, you can't beat it. I got this for my mom who is hardcore for crossword puzzles. She also enjoys the variety diffent level of puzzles. I would definetely suggest this book for someone who is looking for variety. There is a great variety of puzzles to keep her busy without having to run endless puzzles off of the internet.
