The Sims 2 Pets
The Sims 2: Pets gives your Sims the chance to raise & care for a pet! Choose from a variety of existing breeds, and hot designer mixes, but they'll also be able to personally design their new friend. Teach them new tricks, take them for a romp in the park, outfit them with new pet accessories and even give them a job! As in real life, your Sims' pet will require care and training. A neglected cat with an urge to scratch might claw up your new couch if you aren't careful, and leaving your dog unattended near a freshly planted flower bed probably isn't wise. With so many different animals to choose from, there's no telling what unpredictable experiences could occur! Own and operate a pet store where you can help other Sims pick out the perfect pet -- and earn extra Simoleans by selling pet products Pamper, preen, and nurse all the neighborhood pets at your new Pet Care Center

The Sims 2 Pets Reviews
But then, I love caring for animals and making them better when they aren't well, also. But then, I can't stand regular Sims games with all the whining and childish behavior of the "people". I make contests with myself over how large a bonus I can rack up and how quickly I can upgrade to a new home, new equipment. Also true is that some view repetition as boring.
The only reason I don't give it a 5 star is because I wish you could add to the yard area of your home. I really like this Sims game. My daughter also enjoys playing it. But I get a kick out of the different animals and breeds, and moving up the success ladder as a vet.
True, it can be viewed as repetive by some, I admit that. I can't see any point in having a picnic table or garden flower beds inside the house. For me, this game is great. So maybe that's the difference.
It has quite a variety of dogs and cats to choose from or for the artistic person.you can create your own dog. I installed this game and I just love it.
You have your own pets but its sometimes hard to pay attention to that pet. Though there is alot to do but it's repeated often. I didn't think it would be like a vet game, Sims could of done better. The graphics aren't great, the house is small but hey its okay.
But otherwise, the expansion pack is great. There are some draw backs though. Wish they had a few more toys for the pets, or a better selection of fish and birds. This expansion pack is great. Also you have no control over what the pets do, only their interaction with the sims, and last but not least, when all the rest of your family is sleep and your time has not speeded up, trust that the family furball is up and running around somewhere. I forgot all about them and was trying to figure out ok who is still up that the time hasn't speeded up, then I see this little black thing running down the steps, oh yeah the cat is up and running around. It's nice to actually have dogs around while you hear constant barking, instead of just hearing it and seeing no dogs lol. It does make it a little more difficult to manage your sims activities as you have to include the animals.
When I heard that The Sims 2 pets was coming out on DS I was so exsited. You become a vet and treat many patients.Although you treat a limited number of diseases its still very fun.I enjoy it alot. I love The sims. If you like animals and dream to be a vet this is for you.
