The Warriors
The Warriors brings you the drama of the cult film. When gang leader Cyrus called a summit for every gang in New York, he asked them to unite into one massive army -- under his command, they'd be strong enough to take over the city. The gang kids seemed ready to sign up, until Cyrus was shot by a rival. It's pinned on "The Warriors" -- a small-time gang from the edge of the city. Blamed for a murder they didn't commit, The Warriors have to get from the Bronx to their home turf in Coney Island, with every gang in New York chasing them. Help them fight their way through all the gangs they meet -- and get them home in one piece without getting grabbed by the cops.

The Warriors Reviews
Not only does it cover the subjects in the movie entirely, it gives a full backstory with seemingly new parts to play or bonus rumble modes every time something is completed. It is quite rare for a video game to exceed its film counterpart, but "The Warriors" does quite that. The main game (on normal difficulty) can be easily completed in less than a day, but with all of the bonus objectives and missions, there's a good week of fun built into this interactive game. Our only gripe. No carnival games. That seems like such a Rockstar-flavor sort of add-in, especially since the booths and all are already programmed in, yet no joy. Oh well - can't knock something for not having *enough* extras. Some things are very much like GTA (which makes sense, Rockstar knows what works by now), but there is a lot of uniquely Warriors/old New York style to this game.
You can command your people to hide, beat everyone up, destroy everything in sight (gaining points), hold back and wait or spread out. A bit smaery/oily sometimes. Actually, I wanted to finish the game first. Feels very realistic, all in all. Some I loved, by the end I thought it's a pity it only happened so two times or whatever. Best thing to me was the fact that there's really a lot of variety. Probably because beating up people is done so realistically.
has some kinda sickengly impressive feeling to it. IT WAS THE WARRIORS.", infecting others with this idea. It's like 8 vs. Ok, sure, there are repetitions, but some gameplay styles you get to play 3 times over the whole course. For those who don't know the story of the movie: a HUUGE meeting with all the gang members of Manhattan goes chaotic when the guy who called for them (charismatic leader of the most respected gang) gets killed by a gun bullet, even though everyone was forbidden to go there weaponed. Graphics are great, just not THAT beautiful. This feels like a little GTA, but really little.
I did so just a few days ago. 60'000. It seems that everybody loved the guy for some reason, expect for the killer maybe, the one who goes "THE WARRIORS. So while I was looking for a desperate, hopeless-seeming kind of escape/hunt story, it was really tiny in comparison to the whole thing. And hey, it's Rockstar, they like depravity and sick stuff, gritty places and the darker, violant side of humanity.
The game starts way before that point when another guy called Rembrandt is joining the Warriors. Those sections are called "Flashback missions". They vomit, spit blood all over the place. Most important thing you gotta know is, that the movie section is extremly short. THE WARRIORS always starts at their hangout, you can, well, hang out there, do some muscle training, and to outside, roam around Warriors-Territory.
Manhunt was tough and hard to look at, but I felt more disturbed with THE WARRIORS. You can do some dealer-missions (helping them or whatever) and stuff, for example to get the ability to carry one more healing drug with you. Reactions on your commands are effective, you never feel like they're not doing as told. There are two huge missions in there though that never seem to end.
watching 8 guys kicking into a guy (or woman). When they're KO, they do not just fall to the ground, they crawl some feet during which you can keep kicking them (gaining points). Even every sub-mission. I haven't seen THE WARRIORS, the movie, yet. It's kinda hard to describe but in comparison to MANHUNT, every mission here feels very different. Before you get to play the movie section you will learn what kind of conflicts are there between the warriors and some of the gangs, as well as how The Warriors were born. By the end of the game, you can choose the missions and replay them, finish some more secondary missions like spraying the "W" logo wherever you can.
Except for "State of emergency" and "Red dead revolver" I've played every single Rockstar game so far. From then on, they're all trying to get revenge on one of the gangs called "the warriors" who have to find a way to get back to their territory, all the way throught areas stuffed with angry, bloody violant gang members who just want you dead. But regarding the amount of people on screen, it never slows down. But it's waiting in my shelf.
in the end just get this game and see for your self. great music. you can free roam after you beat the game. there are 365 characters you can be. this game is a must have. you can replay missions after you beat them. sounds good right well it gets better.
you can create your own gang. great story and graphics. you can make up your own fights. great fighting.
After the 70's cult classic, Rockstar has done it again. And please, do yourself a favor if haven't seen the movie. I was hooked right away by the trama and development of the game, and right away bought both films (the latest Directors Cut, and the original film), and have had tons of fun playing the game and watching over and over again the movies. A very entertaining and aggresive game, not suited for kids, but a delight for the not so kids who have enjoyed the film during this last 25 years. To be honest, I'm a very big fan of Rockstar Games, and bought The Warriors after reading nothing about it. This is a 7, 8, 9 or 10 thumbs up game. Go and rent it, or better, buy a copy.
If you get arrested however your gang members will come to your rescue and free you provided they havent been arrested. Being able to form your gang to pick and choose from the various gangs in the game. You basically buy cans of paint and go around different areas tagging the other gangs areas. But you would miss out on so many things going in the game little extras and side stories to play as well. It's pretty much game over. If everyone in your gang has been arrested. I could write a lot about the game. Its not hard to do just requires a semi steady hand.
They pick up weapons and use them on your adversary and also you can join up with them on one person and do a special combo move. Having teammates really helps you get out of jams when the action gets thick. Later on in the game you'll be able to buy things like keys to handcuffs and things like that. It's not something that you can run through in one sitting (well i guess you could). I had my doubts about this game but after going through this and beating it (unlocking a mode to play as well). I doubt it will happen but that's how much i enjoyed the game. Basically claiming that as your own. You'll be able to recognize them by the icon over their head (that) and they'll running to get to the pay phone.
I loved how it ties into the movie.letting you know what happened leading up to the movie. I felt that the Warriors with the circumstances they were in. People don't want crappy video games that tie into a movie, QUALITY is the key word this what the Warriors is. While in the Warriors hangout you can work on your combo moves and pull ups which help increase your abilites a bit. You use whatever force is necessary.
I found many things good about this game. But keep in mind while doing this that some people take offense to this and try to call the police. You get money by either robbing people on the street which has its own little technique as well. This is how a movie made into a video game should so others out there take note. Steal car radio's or break into any one of various stores littered around the city.
I found that my concerns were not even necessary. Happy gaming and "come out to play." I mean you have all these gangs chasing you, trying to run you down (literally) and kill you. I enjoyed the little things like unlocking new options in different modes being able to play multiplayer things like King of the Hill which is one of my favorite things in that mode. Also there is tagging which i doubt needs to be explained.
Different weapons, better abilities and things of that nature. The Warriors is a welcome addition to my Xbox lineup and its current price that just makes it that much better. It was more than justified. If it ever happened i could see myself easily getting the sequel to this.
Although the game is quite violent. This is how things should be done. That is even more violent than the normal moves that are at your disposal. So cut them before that because once the police are called.
The situation can get kind of thick.
. It makes the game all that much better.
On a level or two there will be other things coming at you while your doing this. You'll be heading out the door or online to pick up this game that should not be missed.
Its something different to do when your not doing story mode or trying to get everything you can in previously played levels. Also by helping people around town you will unlock new things as well.
But hopefully after reading all this.
