It was easy to return for credit. This is supposed to be compatible with socket 775 processors, but I could't find a way to attach it to the Abit IP35Pro motherboard.
If I knew how to determine my CPU temp, then I would probably give this a higher rating, but I don't. Required two people to install (screw mounts had to held by one person and the other person had to screw in the heatsink/fan due to the screw mounts loosening during tightening of the heatsink screws). Seems like a good product, but haven't really gamed hard on it at this point, and I don't know how to check the CPU temp, so for now it gets a 4/5. It is large and heavy, but I had no problems getting it into my Antec 900. Runs relatively quiet and has a cool blue LED light.
Easy installation, extremely quiet, nice pretty blue light, will definitely lower your CPU temp., comes with grease and everything you need.
This fan gets the job done for sure. Recommended. Have it on an HTPC, and it does the job. I've used just about every major fan out there, and this one is great for the money. Just don't put your fingers into it.
