The connection to an X61 tablet battery is very difficult. Takes way too much brain power to charge an extra battery. Totally useless. After about 2 weeks of use the little plastic part where the connector is broke.
It may take a little fiddling. When you hook up a battery (at least for a T61), the connection doesn't always seem to be that strong. But I don't think there's any other option out there.
