The internal mechanism uses this to somehow keep the pen in place and if broken, the pen gets stuck inside and you need to open up your machine. Fits well in the laptop holder as well (just a little tighter than the last one I feel). It lists x60, however it works perfectly well with my Lenovo x61 Tablet. Just remember, do not stick this pen into the holder if the 'right click' button is damaged/broken. A little irked to pay $45 for something like this. This is the standard pen that comes with your Lenovo Tablet PC. Bought this to replace the one that came with the laptop.

It would be nice if a 45 dollar pen din't look like a 25 cent bic Works well as digital ink.
