Timex TX3000-2 11.06-Inch Patio Thermometer with Glass Lens and PVC Dial (Copper)

Receive consistently accurate temperature readings from the comfort of your back lawn with the Timex TX3000-2 patio thermometer. Boasting a stylish all-weather molded copper case, the 11.06-inch-diameter thermometer stands up to rain, wind, and sun from its wall-mounted location, so you needn't worry about shielding it under a roof overhang or other covering. More significantly, it measures the temperature from -20 all the way up to 120 degrees F--with an alternate scale in Celsius--so you can instantly gauge whether to bring the plants inside during a cold spell or give the lawn a little extra water. And thanks to the bold, easy-to-read dial and UV-protected, fade-resistant inks, it's a breeze to determine the temperature from a distance. Also outfitted with a protective clear glass lens, the TX3000-2 is backed by a two-year limited warranty.

Timex TX3000-2 11.06-Inch Patio Thermometer with Glass Lens and PVC Dial (Copper) Reviews

This thermometer looks great but does not work. When I first started using it I thought that it was broken because it didn't change. I held a hair dryer to the back of it and it moved. Oh, it might tell you the temp if you have hours to wait on it. A snail moves at lightning speed compared to this thing. If you were to say, bring it in the house from being outside in 90 degree temperatures and your room was 72, it would take it 2-3 hours to start moving down.

I really can't recommend this product. It registers 86 degrees most of the time, even though it is sitting in the sun when the outside temperature is about 95. While the Timex patio thermometer looks elegant, the analogue readout is inaccurate.

Held up under weather so far. Good thermometer - easy to read, looks nice.

If Timex made their watches with the same accuracy they would be out of the watch business. I was very disappointed in the themometer, it reads as much as 10 degrees lower than the actual temperature.

It is made very tasteful. I loved this. WOW. Doesn't look cheap. Numbers are a great size to read from inside your home.
