great upgrade from the stock remote, sleek to look at and the keys depress nicely, the back lighting isn't too much and really helps in a dark room.
It functions perfectly, and the lighted buttons make it superior to the old one. I love it. I bought this to replace an original Tivo remote that I had lost (and later found).
The lights make it easier to use in the dark. I like the white color because it is easy to see in the dark. I runs through batteries quickly. This remote is designed much better than the remote that comes with your tivo. So you should invest in rechargeable batteries.
This remote works great. I love the lighted key feature but it needs to be a bit more brighter. I would recommend this remote to anyone who has at least a TiVo Series 2 DT. The buttons are a little larger than the supplied remote and I like the fact that the "Select" button is in the middle of the arrow ring button. It works exactly the same as the supplied TiVo remote but feels a little heavier in the hand.
