Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3

The second GBA edition of the series extends beyond the boundaries of the traditional skateboarding genre by using bigger, living environments.

Like Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2, Tony Hawk 3 captures the look and feel of the big-console versions but transforms the concept into a third-person, mock 3-D game. This new incarnation keeps the original control scheme but brings in alternate career goals, new tricks (including the revert), and changing environments--they even include pedestrians--across seven global locations. Unlike the last game, however, this version allows players to link up for such multiplayer games as Trick Attack, Graffiti, HORSE, and Tag (one copy of the game per GBA unit and link cable is required). The roster of skaters features Tony Hawk, Elissa Steamer, Jamie Thomas, Rodney Mullen, Eric Koston, Chad Muska, Kareem Campbell, Steve Caballero, Andrew Reynolds, Rune Glifberg, Geoff Rowley, Bam Margera, and Bucky Lasek.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 Reviews

no good graphics, it's hard to control your guy, this game is terrible. its awesome on your computer. it's hard to control your guy because when you press down your guy goes foward. i tried. i dont like this game at all.

i suggest you just get this game for your computer, not for gameboy. whats up with that. and don't try to install thps 2 to your xp, cause it won't werk. and your not alowwed to not play carrier, no free skate. i like this game for pc.

good game for pc, not for game boy advance.

Bought in 2002, played ever since. You just get used to it. The levels of the PS2 version that are there are made similar and very nice. Though Skater Island and Canada aren't here.

Reviewers who say, "The graphics are bad" are refering to the 2.5D (Isometric) angle. Some of the best GBA graphics. Anyways, these graphics are approaching the point to be called DS-worthy. Very long game and expanded a long way just like Neversoft did with the PS2 version.

I highly recommend both the GBA and PS2 versions. DS is the BEST portable system with awesome graphics. Same with the controls are bad comment.

You can also play the tutorial where it teaches you the basic tricks. In the best skating game on the gba, Ride as 13 top skateboarders, including Tony Hawk, as you pull off tons of tricks & combos in obstacle-filled environments. You can also play 2 player mode, where you and a friend will link up and compete in several different events such as who can get the highest score. The graphics and gameplay are great, and this game is tons of fun and filled with easy and challenging goals. You can also play in free skate, which is just practicing.

There are many different tricks so this isn't an easy game to master. Once you complete a player's career, then try to complete all the goals to unlock another career slightly harder then the first one. Try to beat both careers on each player to unlock another course. You can play in career mode, where you choose a character to do a certain amount of goals to beat the player's career, such as collecting the letters "S-K-A-T-E" scattered in each course.

but i will trade this is a good game but you should borrow or rent it until you are should.

I'm not the least bit tired of it.Controls: 5/5 When I first got this game, the controls were VERY difficult to get used to. Keep doing that. Get a score of 300,000 in the LA level. There are 6 main levels of gameplay. WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD. Jump out of the North side, then grind the long red rail eastward. The only problem I have is the graphics. I'll just leave it at that.Like I said before, BUY THIS GAME.

Jump constantly, or you'll lose your balance. The levels are fun, the goals are challenging, but not impossible,(just the way I like em').the controls are easy to get used to,and the replay value is insane. Jump off it, grind the fence, and you'll have the secret tape. Okay, I'm going to try to explain this as calmly as possible. Four are just goals, two are contests.

They're horrible. To do this, I thought that you had to get on top of the thin man's house. It Was the find the secretTape. I have at least 20 GBA games, but this is the topper.

To do this, go into the northwest pool. Despite the horrendus(I hope I spelled that right)graphics, you'll be in for endless hours of fun. You'll have the score in no time. To do this, simply grind the four trees near the beginning. This next one had a much simpler Solution. Well, anyway, the gameplay is by far the best in any GBA game.Replay Value: 5/5 I've had this for almost a year, and I still play it nonstop. But you have to grind the house northeast of it.

But once you have it down pat, You'll agree that they are very comfortable.Graphics: 2/5 Not much to say. They're Not exactly great.Gameplay: 5/5. There is one goal that confused me, in the suburbia level. It'll take some practice. After a few seconds, you'll be grinding ona shed. BUY THIS GAME.
