The 32LV67 includes an integrated, slot-loading DVD player. It has upconverting technology that improves the standard picture definition of regular DVDs to match the 1366 x 768 (720p HDTV) display resolution of the 32LV67. Connections

Audio
The SoundStrip speaker system hides the unit's speakers in a thin strip bordering the screen. They're powerful enough to deliver big stereo sound, but they don't add significantly to the size of the set. Toshiba's StableSound feature maintains television volume within a preset range regardless of the source signal. This is an extremely useful feature when transitioning between a quiet television program and a very loud commercial advertisement or when changing channels. The picture quality is gorgeous and vibrant. We have just moved and until we get our 42 inch Panasonic on the wall we have been using this one in the living room. The colors are vibrant and bright and I feel as if it is able to get a "true black". Again, if you can find it for a good price, jump on it. I wish I had purchased two when they were on sale because I can no longer find the combos anywhere. Also wanted to mention that this set picks up an unbelievable amount of HD channels (about 90) without a cable/satellite box. The picture quality is amazing.
I have read and experienced that Toshiba DVD players love to conk out. You will not regret it. The frame is very sleek and sexy, just don't touch it with your oily fingers. As far as the DVD player. I had purchased this set back in February 2008 and wanted to review after having it for awhile.
This set with DVD player was purchased for our bedroom. Unlike other LCDs, this one does not turn dark or grayed out when viewed from different angles. the reality is we have used it about 2 times; so I cannot review on the dependability. It looks amazing, that I could see someone using this one as a main tv if the room isn't too large. It more than suffices.
We have service, but we always love to test the capability of the television.
I'm fully satisfied with the TV (picture quality, menu features, etc), but the built in DVD player has broken twice within the year. You're better off buying a TV-only set and get a nice swanky high-def DVD player to plug in. Luckily the 1-yr manufacturer's warranty is pretty good and they come to your home to fix it - but it's a major hassle. The repair guy said that this happens relatively often to the Toshiba TVs and they plan to stop producing the sets with built-in players.
Setting the TV up to work with my HD cable box was a breeze. I have had this TV for six months now and I have not had any problems. It would be hard to beat the video quality and sound at this price.
Was only used about 4 hrs a week. The video board burned out which in turn blew out the lcd screen. Be careful, it's cheaper than the higher quality for a reason. Repair shop said it would cost as much as a new TV to fix.
TV was nice for a year and a half. The tech also said it's poor design by Toshiba making the video board and screen as one part. My Sony has been around for 7 years, no problems. That was surprising, so it must be a known common problem with Toshiba.
I had extended warranty and they refunded me the entire cost of the TV instead of bothering with fixing it.
and then it is worthless. Well, the product is good unless the cheapo internal dvd player breaks. Meanwhile in repairland, the dvd part is on back order but Toshiba could care less because they already have my money.
