TRANSCEND TS2GCF133 2GB Compact Flash Card Reviews
I have re-formated the card each time and now the errors are more frequent. I no longer use this card as a primary use card. I've lost many valuable pictures. I've had multiple card errors on this card.
The Transcend chip would only move data at 17.2/52.3 mb/s (D100/D300). Slower than a Kingston Elite Pro 50X 2gb(19.4/57 mb/s) and way slower than a Sony 133X 2gb (21.4/103.7 mb/s). I compared the Transcend 133X 2gb compact flash with several other brands using a D100 and D300. The Transcend is offered at a good price considering how slow it is.
I haven't had any problems with it yet. This card works fine in the Canon XT camera I own.
This one was a good deal and works well. I've used some cards that were from cheaper manufacturers but they do not last long and begin to fail with read/write errors. I've been using this for months now and it still works. You get what you pay for.
i did have a few problems of data loss though. a good entry-level cf card, not blazingly fast, just about manages to keep up. overall a good buy for the price.
