Transcend TS8GSDHC6 8GB SDHC card (SD 2.0 SPD Class 6) Reviews
Has performed flawless. Takes fast pics and great videos. I'm about to pick up a second one to have as a spare. Purchased this card nearly a year ago (27DEC07)for $44.59 here at Amazon to use with Canon PowerShot SD870 IS.
I ordered two of these for a new GPS unit I purchased. I was a bit concerned about how inexpensive these were. At this price, it's hardly worth my time to go and package and ship it back, I'll probably just eat the 17 dollars. This is the first time I have had a bad one. To my surprise and dismay, one of the two was DOA. I have dozens of Flash cards used for enumerable purposes. Live and learn.
Pictures and movies are written very quickly to the flash. I recently purchased a Canon SX10 IS camera. I then purchased the Trancend 16gb sdhc. This card works flawlessly. I wanted 16gb flash memory for it. First I purchased a PQI 16gb sdhc card. This card failed to write and was unreliable. I have been using a transcend 4gb micro SD to speedup Vista on my notebook.
Not much to complain about. Stores thousands of photos or over an hour of 30 fps video. Fast downloads to my Mac. Works great with my Canon SD1000. Cost less than $17 shipped.
I use this card as storage media for a digital photo frame. I was able to easily load almost every photo I have on it without any trouble and it works perfectly.
