i am back to shop for another one because i am heading on vacation tried to contact the company and nothing. within a month of purchasing this thing ( i bought it a while ago, at a higher price) it came apart inside my Zen. dont buy it.
Save your money. I tried cutting the solid black plastic around the plug back but that only worked for a while till all I had left was wires & the 1.0 metal plug. I found the reason this unit didn't charge my Zen was the metal part of the 1.0 USB plug was too short. Eventually the wires came loose and it was than useless. It fit in but didn't go in far enough to make good contact to work.
Was pleased because it was so inexpensive. But it just died, so perhaps if you want this you should buy it in bulk. I purchased this recharger a number of months ago and it seemed to work fine.
I thought I'd take a chance on this item because of the low price. In fact, it seems to be messing up my player, although when I plug my player into my computer it eventually starts working correctly again. If your mp3 player isn't on the list, don't even bother. My mp3 player, Creative Zen Micro, isn't on the list of compatible players, but I thought maybe I'd get lucky and it would work.
No luck. Even if your player is on the list, this is not a great product. I wouldn't recommend it. It doesn't recharge my Zen Micro.
It's a cheap, poorly made product. Result.
So it worked for about 2 weeks. That part was great. I received it within a week. Now it is February 28th and I am shopping here on Amazon for another one. Wow. This charger quit working last night. I bought this February 3rd.
