We bought this cause my daughters computer wasn't working and we figured she needed and upgrade, well we were right it worked for only 2 days so now we have to figure out what else it wrong lucky we have 4 computers in the house so she can still play one of them
They could not help me she confused me more than if I tried on my own. Now it is running right and I have not had any trouble at all. It was easy to install on my Dell Computer. Then I called tech support at TRENDnet and they helped me with the set up. This is a great product. TRENDnet TEW-423PI 54Mbps Wireless G PCI Adapter After being on the phone with her for about an hour she said she could not help me. I called my cable carrier first to help me set it up.
Regardless, it never worked. Troubleshooting was useless. Thankfully Amazon handled the return quickly. Now I know computers - I have a degree in this field for pity sakes, so I know what I am doing when installing an item like this. Thumbs up for Amazon - thumbs down for Trendnet. What a dissapointment. I needed a wireless adapter fairly fast and wanted to keep the price low - so I turned to Amazon and went with this model.
I have just return my linksys adapter and change to this one, and it turns out no big difference in performance. But the prices have huge difference.
I RECOMMEND IT ,GREAT PRODUCT. THE UNIT IS EASY TO INSTALL AND THE DRIVER AUTO LOADED. WORK VERY WELL NO PROBLEMS HERE.
