Just a warning if you're purchasing this for a Dell XPS 400...don't do it. It gave me a bunch of problems that I could never resolve. I work in IT, I even have a side business to repair other people's PC's, and I had nothing but problems with this in my Dell XPS 400 w/Windows 7 Premium.
I liked Turtle beach since the first one i bought. I would recomend them to any one.
Top notch quality and incredible value for your computer sound system. Fills the room with concert sound when you don't want to listen in a headset.. Value in every way.
I bought the Turtle Beach Riviera for 3 reasons. First, I've found Turtle Beach puts out good products at a reasonable price. Second, this particular unit had all the features I needed and was within my budget. Third, I needed to upgrade my sound card to work properly with Windows 7 and this was one of the first to advertise that it was Windows 7 ready. I've had it for several weeks now and give it a 5 all the way around.
Needed an optical out sound card for a reasonable price- this one totally exceeded expectations- VERY pleased with the performance.
